This may be attributed to the fact that the same studies report that 79% of healthcare professionals believed for their patients to lose weight they simply needed to completely change their lifestyle. We now have scientific evidence explaining the complex interactions of genetic, biological, environmental, and psychosocial factors which can contribute to the disease of obesity.
